Enter one URL pattern with {locale}
where the locale goes, list your markets, and get a reciprocal hreflang block plus the sitemap
XML that carries the same declarations. Codes are validated against ISO 639-1 and ISO 3166-1.
The locale is inserted exactly as written in the table below, lowercased —
so de-DE becomes /de-de/. If your URLs use a different
casing, edit the pattern or the codes to match what actually ships.
These tags must appear on every page in the set, each listing all the others. A one-way declaration is ignored by Google — reciprocity is not optional.
Use this if you would rather not touch the template. The sitemap needs
xmlns:xhtml on the <urlset> element — without it the
annotations are silently dropped.
